Coven of the
Triple Goddess

Blessed Maiden, Mother and Crone

Meet Our Elder

Raven:
High Priestess specializing in Herbalism and Runes

Ordained Minister performing:
Legal Handfastings
Wiccanings for children & infants
Passing Over Ceremonies

Each of us has our own talents and strengths, but we are not limited by what comes easy. Formal training has been a large part of cultivating what we were born with. What must be understood is that our Elder is a natural born Wiccan. What that means is that we have verified that at least one (and for Raven, many more) of our blood relatives possessed the abilities that we ourselves were blessed with.

Raven's natural healing abilities have lead her to a life in the field of medicine. She is our resident Healer. As a general rule, if it can be healed herbally, Raven is the one to talk to.

Sabbats

Samhain
The Wiccan New Year, celebrated on October 31st of each year. Samhain is the time for gathering energy before the depths of Winter. This is also a time for honoring the Dead, those who have passed onto the Summerlands.

Yule
The celebration of Winter Solstice, celebrated on or about December 21st each year. This celebration marks the rebirth of the Sun God from the Goddess. It is a time of great reflection and joy.

Imbolc
This celebration occurs each year on February 2nd. This is the time when the first signs of rebirth (Spring) are apparent.

Ostara
This celebration occurs on or about March 21st, during the Spring Equinox. This is the beginning of true Spring and a festival of Fire to celebrate the resurgence of the Earth's fertility is performed.

Beltaine
Celebrated on May 1st, this festival is in honor of the symbolic union of the God and Goddess and the bringing of the Summer.

Midsummer Solstice
The Summer Solstice celebration is held on or around June 21st of each year. Midsummer marks the time when the Sun is symbolically at the height of its power.

Lughnasadh
Celebrated on August 1st, this festival marks the first harvest and the ebbing of the Sun's energies in preparation of Autumn.

Mabon
Celebrated on or about September 21st, this festival marks the second harvest. Autumn will turn to Winter and we give thanks and reflect upon the year nearly behind us.

Esbats

Esbats are celebrations of the Full Moon and occur many times during the year. Coven of the Triple Goddess uses these Esbats as a time for the Elders to gather and plan the direction of the Coven. Members are not included in these meetings, but are encouraged to practice and strengthen their relationship with the Goddess.
